Adam is a Youth Program Specialist with Scouts Canada, leading program design and sustainability initiatives for Canada’s largest coed youth leadership organization. A former teacher, Adam has taught at the university and K-12 level, specializing in environmental and sustainability education. He leads the national environmental learning network EECOM, and develops programming and curriculum on climate change and sustainable communities. In 2019 he was recognized as a Top 30 Under 30 in Environmental Education in North America. Adam has been active with Experiences Canada since his role as a youth ambassador for Canada 150 & Me. He enjoys facilitating youth cultural exchanges as a director for an English language summer camp in Calgary and Vancouver. He is passionate about diversity, inclusion, and reconciliation within exchanges, and the power of collaboration to solve global issues.
