Experiences Canada is excited to be able to bring youth across Canada together for our highly anticipated in-person National Youth Forum 2024 in Ottawa, Ontario! Building on the success of our 2022 Allyship Forum in Winnipeg, 50 youth participants and 10 youth leaders participating in our 2024 Forum will learn from Indigenous entrepreneurs, leaders, knowledge keepers, elders, and residential school survivors. This year’s Youth Forum delves into the critical theme of Reconciliation while bringing together youth from every province and territory this July 3rd to 7th, 2024 to our nation’s capital to visit cultural institutions, historical sites, and locales related to the theme of Reconciliation.
The Forum will introduce participants to new regions, cultures, and histories alongside first-hand learning from experts. During their time in Ottawa, the youth leaders are responsible for their youth podcast groups who have been working hard planning their group podcasts on various topics relating to Reconciliation. The youth leaders and their podcast groups will be actively collaborating on their podcast and will participate in multiple workshop sessions facilitated by Experiences Canada staff and members from Youth Ottawa during their stay at Carleton on July 3rd to 7th. We can’t wait to hear what our amazing youth produce, completely created for youth by youth!
