Youth Development & Career Choices

Experiences Canada is committed to providing youth with opportunities that encourage a better understanding of themselves in the context of a broader world.

To help youth navigate the sometimes complicated exploration of choices for life beyond high school,  we have created a series of programs, workshops, and curated resources that will guide decision-making about career options, employment opportunities, as well as extracurricular activities, events and other steps youth can take  to realise their goals.

Career Choices

Experiences Canada aims to help teenage youth explore their career options through a series of on-line workshops, job profiles and skills building resources that will help young people better prepare themselves for life after high school and their future in work.

Youth Opportunities

Over the past 85 years, we have had the opportunity to collaborate with many amazing Canadian organizations that also offer great opportunities for youth development. Here you will find a breakdown of opportunities for youth divided by category. Whether it be employment opportunities, extracurricular activities or events, we want to support youth and alumni as much as possible.

Online Workshops

Growing into yourself is never easy at the best of times. The pandemic has had profound impacts on youth, disrupting social routines and challenging youth who have often experienced isolation, boredom, and anxiety about what the future holds.  We wanted to find a fun and engaging way to strengthen personal resilience among youth that will have a long-lasting impact on their development.  In collaboration with Montreal-based Never was Average, we’re pleased to offer three online workshops focused on different aspects of personal empowerment.
