EXPERIENCES CANADA collects and uses personal information for the purpose of providing participants with the programs and services requested from us, or for the purposes set out in this policy. EXPERIENCES CANADA will not sell, lease, or trade personal information to other third parties and will not disclose your personal information to anyone else without your prior knowledge or consent, except when required by a government body or agency, or as permitted by law, or to a trusted service provider who has agreed to protect the privacy of the information.
Your personal information is used to communicate with you about your program and to provide you with information related to membership in EXPERIENCES CANADA and services provided. EXPERIENCES CANADA may contact you from time to time to conduct surveys in an effort to continually improve our program and service offerings.
EXPERIENCES CANADA will only ask you for information required in the normal operation and delivery of our programs. We will seek your prior consent to the collection, use and disclosure of the information as required by applicable privacy legislation. Anonymous or non-identifiable information gathered by EXPERIENCES CANADA through our websites may be used for technical, research and analytical purposes. Information which does not identify individuals, collected through surveys, existing files and public archives may be used by EXPERIENCES CANADA to analyze its markets and to develop or enhance program offerings and service.
For program participants under 18 years of age, we will obtain permission from a parent or legal guardian to collect and use personally identifiable information about the youth.
To enable us to more efficiently provide and deliver our programs and services, EXPERIENCES CANADA may share your personal information with selected third parties who are acting on our behalf as our agents, suppliers or service providers. Such third party service providers are provided only with such information as is necessary in the circumstances (e.g. your full name will be given to our travel agent in order to purchase your ticket; your name and address to our insurer for insurance purposes). Information provided to third parties may be used only for the purpose stipulated and is subject to strict terms of confidentiality.
EXPERIENCES CANADA commits to ensuring that any information we hold about you is as accurate, complete and up-to-date as possible. Please inform us of any changes to your personal information including name, address or other related file information.
